What is a Hands-Free Dog Lead?

Our Hands-Free Dog Lead is a highly-functional (and chic) lead designed to give dog owners more freedom during walks.

It features soft rope and a silicone slider that allow you to adjust the length of the rope to wear it as you wish - around your waist, across your body or by hand - allowing you to keep your hands free while maintaining control over your pup.

Why Would I Need a Hands-Free Lead?

If you’ve ever tried juggling a leash, phone, keys, and T/A coffee, you’ll know how challenging it can be.

The rope composition is soft and stretchy, suitable to be held by even the largest of pullers.

What Is the Lead Made Of?

Our hands free leads are made from super soft (and stretchy) rope to provide bounce and support if dogs are tugging. The slider is made from silicone, whilst the hardware is a zinc alloy. 

The rope is also lightweight - perfect for puppy training. Beach-friendly and easy to clean, ensuring both comfort and practicality.

Is It Suitable for Puppies?

Absolutely. As long as your puppy is leash-trained and comfortable walking on a lead. The hands-free function can help encourage a more natural walking experience for younger dogs.

Again, when training your dog, we recommend holding the leash by hand. When they grow and get more comfortable on a leash, you can start transitioning into wearing it across body or around your waist.

How Do I Clean It?

Since the lead is made from rope, it’s super easy to maintain. Simply wash in warm soapy water with a sponge, then let dry in the sun. Ensure you keep the hardware out of the water, or dry it off thoroughly to prevent premature tarnishing.
